At Midtown Primary School, we are incredibly grateful for our outstanding School Board, whose dedication and leadership make a lasting impact on our students, staff, and families. Our Board members work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every decision supports a thriving learning environment. They advocate for the resources our students need, collaborate closely with school leadership, and bring a vision of excellence to every meeting and initiative. Their unwavering commitment to student success, teacher support, and community engagement helps create the foundation for a strong, vibrant school culture. Our Midtown Board Members

Mrs. Tevia Arnold, Board Member

Tevia Arnold is a seasoned technology marketing leader with over 20 years of experience in developing brands and accelerating growth within fast-paced enterprise technology companies. Known for her energy, candor, and drive, she has consistently challenged the status quo to create innovative, high-impact programs that drive revenue growth and build strong brands.

Tevia has a proven track record in guiding companies through complex marketing transformations, particularly in the context of SaaS, AI, and enterprise analytics solutions/ She has made a significant impact in the retail technology sector, leading transformative marketing initiatives at IHS Markit, Revionics, DemandTec by Acoustic (an IBM spinoff), SymphonyAI Retail, and Insite AI.

Tevia’s operational expertise includes go-to-market strategy, partnerships, performance marketing, demand generation, brand awareness, product marketing and sales enablement, digital marketing, content marketing, paid and earned media, and ROI measurement. She is skilled in coaching, leadership development, and change management, with experience in building and leading teams in both hyper-growth startups and large global organizations.

Dr. Pamela Batina, Board Member

Dr. Pamela (Pam) Batina has 30 years of experience in education with more than fourteen years in higher education at Western Governors University as a lead evaluation faculty member. in the Teachers College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and elementary teacher preparation from the University of IL-Springfield; a Master of Science from the University of IL-Urbana-Champaign in library and information science; a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix in curriculum and instruction, and a Doctor of Philosophy from New Mexico State University in curriculum and instruction. As a pre-K and first grade teacher, district level project specialist, librarian, and grant manager, county level planning and program improvement director, educational grant consultant, and higher education faculty, Pam has worked and supported all levels of education. In serving on the Midtown Primary School Governing Board, she is dedicated to fostering equitable access to quality education, nurturing lifelong learning skills, and empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential at every stage of their educational journey.

Mrs. Belinda Suggs, Board Vice President, Charter Representative

Mrs. Lindy Ross, Board President, Charter Representative

Lindy Ross has dedicated 25 years to serving children and families through education. She is passionate about creating opportunities for students facing significant challenges and ensuring every child has access to a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment.

Throughout her career, Lindy has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, special education teacher, curriculum director, university instructor, and school leader. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Certification in Reading from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She holds a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning: Pedagogy with a Certification in English as a Second Language from Northern Arizona University. She is currently working on a Doctoral Degree in Education in Teaching and Learning: Emphasis in Andragogy at Grand Canyon University.  

 

She has worked in public, charter, and private schools. She believes that strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to equity are the foundation of student success. Under her leadership, Midtown Primary School has continued its mission of serving students and families with compassion, innovation, and excellence.
